The peepal tree near the old temple,
Is the breathing image of our relationship.
Its aerial roots strike ground as days pass on,
Just as my attachment towards you.
Once rooted, one cannot pull them back,
Just as your attachment towards me!

The peepal tree is a tree,
Where people swear to be together,
To never stay apart!
And tie threads to symbolize this vow!
We, we aren’t bound by all this,
Because the peepal tree near the old temple,
Is a SYMBOL of our relationship!
