Beauty lies beyond the face...

Set loose the passion dumped inside your hair,
O, daughter of the new moon.
Show twinkling stars in broad daylight
To the needful,
Blink your eyes, O lady,
And bless the world with a hurricane,
Stretch your lips a bit
And kill the world with your beauty.
Let them get up with a start
And glare at you.

Don’t worry you wont loose your virtue
Because you have set your boundaries.
You know you are chaste.
Tempt the world around
So that their sins overpower,
And they are drowned,
And penalized for what they did to you.

Don’t worship yourself,
Worship your virtue,
And you will find people around you
Who worship you and your virtue.
And show to the world how
Beauty lies beyond the face…

Come to these woods

Come to these woods and see,
There’s no one here,
Except nature, and me.
The only human voice audible
Is my quill.
The only one who respires is me.
The only sensuality is
That of mine.

And when you come to this
Unethereal plain,
The joy will be ours.
And these woods will be
A replica of paradise,
Where two souls immortalized
Are freezed,
Where love and only love breathes…
Assimilate this rivulet in your expanse,
Unburden these tresses and unloosen this passion.
Kiss these eyes for once,
And open them for ever.
Encroach towards this body,
And set it to fire.
Crumple this warmth
And extinguish it to ice.
Engulf this soul and fill these insides;
Turn this world into a salt lake,
So that no one enters this isle,
And disturb our solitude.
-------

What is this?

At each beat, this heart springs like a simpleton,
Hugs and kisses in the air like an idiot,
Blushes and giggles when nothing lies at sight,
Broods and cries at some invisible sprite,
Dreams and wishes like a toddler,
Flies like a baby,
Sighs like a woman.
Scales all ages in a second,
Reaches eternity at the very next…

It is twilight

It is twilight
The city is lit up; but not my home.
I am sitting under a candle, yet in darkness.
The candle light only illuminates the darkness around me.
And the lights outside, are trying to subjugate me.

I hold a cup of tea for a long while,
(That is not made for me.
It is only ‘almed’ to me)
And then I have a snack,
But I am disinterested.
For the light that dances before me
Is like a prostitute working for money.
It doesnot illuminate my insides,
It only makes the darkness visible
And, yet, it can not be seen on the outside.

And that is what my problem is.
I am pining for my beloved,
And they think I have become insane,
Just as I was,
Before meeting him….

Any date, any day, any month, any year

Smoke shoots from the factories,
From the trash,
From the grass.
A dim sunlight unveils itself
At the planned hour, reluctantly.
Ants crawl out of their forts
To earn material ends.
One looks like the other,
The other like another.
Each one crawling in and out
And up and down
And back and forth,
Like a corpse.
They settle before machines,
To work like machines,
To undo the feat of their forerunners.
Not realizing,
When it is day
And when it is not.
When the clock summons
The planned hour,
They go back to their ant-hills,
Tired, melancholic, sleepy.
They crawl into their beds,
And die for a few hours.
And the world dies with them.

The next morning comes,
Awakens them at the planned hour,
To pull the same burden for the next day.

Hail!

Hail! Sweet zephyrs, fan my beloved,
Let her sleep like the mistress of the universe.
Hail! Sensous west wind, caress her tresses.
Let her experience the warmth of my touches.
Hail1 soft rabbits, cast off your skins,
Lend me your soft covers
To bed my darling princess.
Hail! Scarlet roses, jump into her cheeks,
Let her blush amidst her sleep
To set the universe on fire.
Hail! Sweet angels, transform me
Into a handsome beaux,
Let me peep into her dreams
And see her smile and glow.
Hail! Fays, fairies, guard our moments of rapture,
Guard us against wicked coughs,
And guard us till eternity.
